We have created a piece of code for our Car Script v2.0 that can be simply inserted into the sitemap.php page. This piece of code will fit directly after the line:
<li><a href=”featured_car.php” class=”links” title=”Car of the week”>Car of the week</a></li>
It will dynamically create the correct entries for every vehicle listed on your site. This will greatly help your site with search engines as the sitemap page will be constantly changing as you add and remove stock.
Over the coming weeks we will be looking at creating a Google Sitemap Module which again is dynamically updated. This should be available in February as an Add-On to Car Script v2.0

The computers you list can be separated into the various categories and can be as configurable as you like. For instance, you may have a stock of laptops that you need to sell that can be sold with upgrades such as more memory or a simple carry case. The configuration module will allow you to enter as many or few options as you require.
The system comes into its own when a user wants to build his own system completely from scratch too. The user simply selects the main board, then the chip (only correct chips that suit the board can be selected). The user then build the system to their exact specification and only parts that fit together will be displayed as an option to pick.

Car Script version 2.0 is a great little package for car dealers who are looking for a pre built website that enables them to list their inventory and upload up to 10 pictures or images of each car.
The script is driven by a client management system which gives the administrator full control over stock. The administrator can even single out vehicles that must be sold quickly and featured cars.
Choose your Language
The script is shipped with various languages available to choose from but please note that it is only intended to display in one language (not multi lingual on the fly)
Search Engine Optimisation Friendly URLs
The car script uses mod rewrite commands within a .htaccess file to rewrite the dynamic web addresses to those that are static. Each car uploaded has the pagetitle, description and meta keywords tag all created on the fly.
